We have arrested three men and seized suspected MDMA (ecstasy) and cannabis following a stop check in Toxteth last night, Wednesday 21 August.

At around 9.45pm, officers stopped an Audi A3 on Ullet Road, from which a strong smell of cannabis was detected. Following searches of the occupants and car, tablets and cannabis (pictured) were seized and three men were detained.

The men, all 21-year-oldsĀ from Widnes in Cheshire, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and taken to police stations for questioning.
