Two men charged in connection with discovery of cannabis farm - Islands Brow, St Helens

We have charged two men after the discovery of a cannabis farm with an estimated annual yield of around £10m in St Helens on Sunday, 29 September.

Officers on routine patrol on Islands Brow at around 9pm noticed a smell of cannabis. Following enquiries, a cannabis farm was located in an industrial unit containing 2,885 plants and two men were arrested.

24-year-old Vilson Kotarja and 24-year-old Florian Sinaj, both of no fixed address have been charged with production of cannabis.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Adult Remand Court today, Tuesday, 1 October.
