European researchers and experts discuss Mental Health & Well-being in the Ageing Population

Online Public meeting - Wednesday 16th June 2021

The Silver Santé Study, a five-year EU funded research project, involves experts from across Europe investigating the impact of interventions on mental health and well-being in the ageing population, with a particular focus on Alzheimer’s disease and its mechanisms.

As the project nears its end, the project’s online meeting on Wednesday 16thJune 2021 presents its research together with risks and recommendations regarding maintaining brain health.

Guest speakers, project researchers, expert meditators and participants from the studies and their trainers are participating in the meeting’s five sessions covering ‘hot topics’ such as COVID-19 and its impact on health in ageing, plus the perception and practice change in meditation & mindfulness over the last five years.
