Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA`s presentation of the first quarter results 2011 will take place at 8:30 AM on Thursday April 28th at DnB NOR’s headquarter, Stranden 21, Aker Brygge, Oslo. The results will be presented in Norwegian by the CEO, Bjørn Kjos
Norwegian reports a continued passenger growth in March. More than 1.1 million passengers flew with the airline, which is an increase of more than 134,000 passengers compared to the same period last year.
The total number of passengers flown in March 2011 was 1,155,169 compared to 1,021,063 last year, an increase of 134,106 passengers (13 %).
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has selected the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine to power up to 9 new 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
Scandinavia´s second largest airline, Norwegian, opens its new base at Helsinki Airport today and commences domestic flights from Helsinki to Oulu and Rovaniemi. Helsinki Airport will be serving two domestic and 11 international routes.

Norwegian reports a continued passenger growth in February, as 935,000 passengers chose to fly with the airline, a 12 percent increase compared to the same month the previous year.
The total number of passengers flown in February 2011 was 935,488 compared to 834,884 last year, an increase of 100,604 passengers (12 %).
Norwegian reports a net profit of 189 MNOK for 2010. The airline carried more than 13 million passengers last year, an increase of 21 percent compared to the previous year. In the fourth quarter the company’s net result after taxes was -5,4 MNOK, strongly influenced by soaring fuel prices.
