Norwegian will use Airbus A340 as a replacement aircraft on long-haul routes

Norwegian (NAS) today reported its fourth quarter and full year results for 2012. The company reports a pre-tax profit of 623 MNOK, an improvement of 457 MNOK compared to previous year.
Boeing has alerted a possible delay in the delivery of Norwegian’s first 787 Dreamliner. The aircraft was scheduled to be delivered in late April. The June delivery may also be affected. In the event that the 787 is not operational in time for Norwegian’s services to New York and Bangkok replacement long-haul aircraft will be leased to ensure that flights are operated as planned.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA`s presentation of the fourth quarter results 2012 will take place at 8:30 AM on Friday February 15th at Felix Conference Center, Bryggetorget 3, Aker Brygge, Oslo. The results will be presented in Norwegian by the CEO, Bjørn Kjos.
