Norwegian to double flights between London Gatwick and Gothenburg this winter
Low cost airline Norwegian is continuing its growth at London Gatwick by doubling the volume of flights on offer to Gothenburg this winter.

Norwegian continues its cooperation with several big tour operators by entering new agreements with TUI, Thomas Cook and Nazar. The agreements mean that Norwegian will fly charter passengers to several destinations in the Mediterranean. The agreements are worth over 400 million NOK and include almost 2,000 flights.
Norwegian continues to grow in all markets. Norwegian carried more than 1.6 million passengers in January 2015, an increase of five percent compared to January last year. The load factor was 80 percent in January, up 5.2 percentage points.
Norwegian continues to expand its route network in the UK and will for the first time offer non-stop service from Birmingham to Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga. The airline also adds Malaga as a new destination from Edinburgh.
Norwegian has once again been voted “Europe's best low-cost airline” - this time by AirlineRatings.com. The jury praises Norwegian’s ability to offer its passengers an innovative quality product and new routes at low fares. This is the second year running that Norwegian is awarded this international title by AirlineRatings.com.
Norwegian reports a traffic growth of 21 percent in November. The company carried more than 1.7 million passengers this month. The load factor was 79 percent, up 2.8 percentage points from the same month previous year.
Today, Norwegian's CEO Bjørn Kjos will call on the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to once and for all approve the application for a foreign air carrier permit for the company’s Irish subsidiary Norwegian Air International (NAI) in a speech in Washington D.C.
Norwegian’s passenger growth continued in October. The company carried more than 2.2 million passengers this month, an increase of 15 percent compared to the same month previous year. The load factor was 81.6 percent, up 2.3 percentage points.
Norwegian continues to expand its long-haul network with new routes and more departures on existing connections. A non-stop service will launch between London Gatwick and Orlando and between Copenhagen and Orlando. In addition, there will be more weekly departures between London Gatwick and New York (JFK), London Gatwick and Los Angeles (LAX), Oslo and LAX, as well as Stockholm and San Francisco.
Norwegian carried more than 2.3 million passengers in August 2014, an increase of 19 percent compared to the same month previous year. The load factor was 83.6 percent, up 4.4 percentage points.
Norwegian has received seven nominations in the highly acclaimed Passenger Choice Awards 2014. Norwegian is represented in more than half of the categories, including “Best in Region: Europe” and “Best Overall Passenger Experience”. The Passenger Choice Awards has become one of the industry’s most significant award programmes for the airline industry.
Norwegian carried approximately 2.5 million passengers in July 2014, an increase of 17 percent compared to the same month previous year. This is the highest number of passengers Norwegian has carried in a single month. The load factor was 88.2 percent.
