Norwegian reports a continued passenger growth in February, as 935,000 passengers chose to fly with the airline, a 12 percent increase compared to the same month the previous year.
The total number of passengers flown in February 2011 was 935,488 compared to 834,884 last year, an increase of 100,604 passengers (12 %).
Norwegian reports a net profit of 189 MNOK for 2010. The airline carried more than 13 million passengers last year, an increase of 21 percent compared to the previous year. In the fourth quarter the company’s net result after taxes was -5,4 MNOK, strongly influenced by soaring fuel prices.

Norwegian continues to experience a considerable passenger growth in January. Close to one million passengers flew with the airline in January, a 17 percent increase compared to the same month the previous year. The load factor keeps improving even with a strong increase in total capacity.
The total number of passengers flown in January 2011 was 965,785 compared to 827,743 last year, an increase of 138,042 passengers (17 %).

Norwegian´s first aircraft, featuring the brand new Boeing Sky Interior, arrived in Oslo, Norway Friday morning. The new interior will increase passenger comfort considerably. Fifty-nine aircraft featuring the new interior will be delivered to the airline between 2011 and 2016.
