Norwegian Reports Record High Passenger Figures and Higher Load Factor in July
Norwegian (NAS) continues to report record high passenger figures. Nearly 1.6 million passengers flew with the airline in July, an increase of 21 percent compared to July 2011. The load factor was close to 90 percent, despite a strong capacity increase of 23 per cent.

Norwegian second quarter - strong earnings improvement and over 4 million passengers
Norwegian carried more than 4 million passengers in the second quarter, 26 percent more than the same period last year. The turnover was just over 2.7 billion NOK, up 34 percent. The operating result for the second quarter was 137 million NOK, which is 185 million NOK better than last year, despite an extra fuel expense of 193 million NOK.

Aircraft Lease Agreement
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has entered into a Letter of Intent to lease one new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner long haul aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft is the third leased Dreamliner from ILFC, and the sixth Dreamliner on order for Norwegian.

Norwegian has entered into a Letter of Intent to lease a further new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, bringing the total number of such aircraft on order to six. The six aircraft are part of Norwegian’s set up for long haul operations.

Norwegian has mandated aircraft financing to ING for a total of 3 billion NOK
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has mandated ING on a USD 550 million financing facility. The facility covers term financing for 11 Boeing 737-800 HGW which are scheduled for delivery between summer 2011 and end of 2012 and pre-delivery financing for aircraft delivering during the same period.

The total number of passengers flown in June 2011 was 1,459,337 compared to 1,224,958 last year, an increase of 234,379 passengers (19 %).

Passenger record for Norwegian in June
Norwegian reports its best passenger figures ever in June. Close to 1.5 million passengers flew with the airline last month, a passenger growth of 19 percent compared to June 2010. The load factor was record high, at 81 percent.
