Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA’s presentation of the fourth quarter results 2011 will take place at 8:30 AM on Thursday February 16th at Felix Conference Center, Bryggetorget 3, Aker Brygge, Oslo.
The total number of passengers flown in January 2012 was 1 134 142 compared to 965 785 last year, an increase of 168 357 passengers (17 %).
Norwegian (NAS) today reported January traffic results. This is the company’s best ever January figures both in terms of total number of passengers flown and load factor, in a month where people typically travel less. More than 1.1 million passengers flew with the company in January, up 17 percent from the same month previous year.
Norwegian has today signed an agreement with both Airbus and Boeing for delivery of a total of 222 new aircraft. The order includes 122 aircraft from Boeing; 100 of the new Boeing 737 MAX8 and 22 Next-Generation 737-800. The Airbus order includes 100 Airbus A320neo. The total agreement is the largest ever in European aviation history and has a contract value at list prices of NOK 127 billion.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has placed orders with Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Airbus S.A.S. comprising a total of 372 aircraft whereof 222 are on firm order.

A total of about 16 million passengers travelled with Norwegian in 2011, an increase of 3 million compared to the previous year.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has arranged and closed financing facilities in the amount of NOK 600 million for pre-delivery payment (PDP) financing. The facilities cover PDP financing for aircraft delivering in the current 2012 - 2014 financial planning time horizon.
