  • Early redemption of NAS02 and new unsecured bond issue

    Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has today summoned a bondholder meeting in NAS02 (ISIN NO 001 0560915) to be held 30 March 2012. The bondholder meeting is requested to approve an early redemption of NAS02 in combination with a new bond issue in the amount of up to NOK 600,000,000 with maturity in April 2015.

  • Maintenance agreement

    Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has entered into a maintenance agreement with Boeing comprising all six long-haul aircraft on order. The agreement secures cost efficient maintenance and has a duration of 12 years.

  • TUI contract widened

    Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA and Nordiska Fritidsresegruppen/TUI Nordic, a subsidiary of the world’s largest travel company TUI Travel Plc, have agreed to widen the scope of the existing agreement for the transportation of Star Tour/ Fritidsresor/ TUI Nordic Finnmatkat customers originally entered into on January 14 2010.

  • Norwegian's traffic figures January 2012

    The total number of passengers flown in January 2012 was 1 134 142 compared to 965 785 last year, an increase of 168 357 passengers (17 %).

  • Norwegian Reports Strongest Ever January Passenger Figures

    Norwegian (NAS) today reported January traffic results. This is the company’s best ever January figures both in terms of total number of passengers flown and load factor, in a month where people typically travel less. More than 1.1 million passengers flew with the company in January, up 17 percent from the same month previous year.

  • Largest Ever Aircraft Acquisition in Europe: Norwegian purchases 222 new aircraft

    Norwegian has today signed an agreement with both Airbus and Boeing for delivery of a total of 222 new aircraft. The order includes 122 aircraft from Boeing; 100 of the new Boeing 737 MAX8 and 22 Next-Generation 737-800. The Airbus order includes 100 Airbus A320neo. The total agreement is the largest ever in European aviation history and has a contract value at list prices of NOK 127 billion.
