Boeing’s new long-haul aircraft, the 787 Dreamliner, visits Norway and Scandinavia for the first time on May 1. The visit is a part of the aircraft’s world tour – The 787 Dream Tour – where Norwegian’s future customers and partners have the opportunity to experience the airplane up close. Norwegian currently has – as the only Scandinavian airline six Dreamliner on order.
Norwegian (NAS) today reported March traffic results. More than 1.3 million passengers flew with the company in March, up 18 percent from the same month previous year. The load factor was 78 percent and the unit revenue (RASK) grew 5 percent.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has today summoned a bondholder meeting in NAS02 (ISIN NO 001 0560915) to be held 30 March 2012. The bondholder meeting is requested to approve an early redemption of NAS02 in combination with a new bond issue in the amount of up to NOK 600,000,000 with maturity in April 2015.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has entered into a comprehensive maintenance agreement with Boeing, comprising all six Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner long-haul aircraft on order. Norwegian is the first airline to opt for this solution.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA has entered into a maintenance agreement with Boeing comprising all six long-haul aircraft on order. The agreement secures cost efficient maintenance and has a duration of 12 years.
Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA and Nordiska Fritidsresegruppen/TUI Nordic, a subsidiary of the world’s largest travel company TUI Travel Plc, have agreed to widen the scope of the existing agreement for the transportation of Star Tour/ Fritidsresor/ TUI Nordic Finnmatkat customers originally entered into on January 14 2010.

The total number of passengers flown in February 2012 was 1 151 829 compared to 935 488 last year, an increase of 216 341 passengers (23 %).
Norwegian (NAS) today reported its fourth quarter and full year 2011 results. The company experienced a passenger growth of 20 percent and carried 15.7 million passengers in 2011. The load factor increased by 2 percentage points to 79 percent.
