Oxford University Press and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology extend Read & Publish deal

Oxford University Press (OUP) has renewed its Read & Publish agreement with the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The agreement enables scholars at KAUST to access the full Oxford Journals Collection and to publish their research via open access in hybrid journals. This renewal extends the existing agreement for a further three years until the end of 2023.

Rhodri Jackson, Publishing Director for Open Access at Oxford University Press hailed the renewal, noting that, ‘OUP is committed to providing high quality open access publishing options to support greater openness in research globally, and we’re really pleased to work with our colleagues at KAUST to do that.’

Vijayakumar. “Through efforts like this read and publish 3 years agreement renewal with OUP, we are helping shape a sustainable, responsible approach to ensuring that our research in world-leading scientific journals is available to all."
