Panasonic’s Quiet Mark approved appliances to feature at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2014
Gardens should be peaceful places to relax and unwind, so it’s no surprise that Panasonic are delighted to announce that its newly-awarded low-noise appliances will be featuring at The Quiet Mark Treehouse and Garden by John Lewis at RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2014.
Panasonic are feature sponsors of the Treehouse and are using the opportunity to showcase some of the Quiet Mark endorsed products. Its laundry range has proudly carried the purple Quiet Mark for two years but this has just been joined by a whole host of low-noise products.
The latest product ranges to have been endorsed by Quiet Mark are:
• Refrigeration
• Cooker Hoods
• Tumble Dryer
• Dishwasher
• Vacuum cleaners
• Microwave
• Kettles
The low-noise appliances that will feature in The Quiet Mark Treehouse and Garden by John Lewis are Panasonic’s washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob as well as two of its sleek small appliances, a kettle and microwave plus an ultra-efficient air conditioning system.
Technology in harmony
Positioned as a central feature of the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2014, The Quiet Mark Treehouse and Garden by John Lewis is an acoustically-designed structure, developed to offer a vision of a quieter style of living, featuring products that we all rely on, but without the unwanted noise.
The concept is ‘technology in harmony with nature’ and this unique charity/retailer partnership is also aiming to evolve consumer understanding of sound quality whilst working to develop a new era of sound measurement for electrical products sold at one of the UK’s favourite department stores.
Located at stand E165 and surrounded by naturalistic forest planting and sculptured landscaping designed by David Domoney of ITV’s Love Your Garden, this is the last chance to see The Quiet Mark Treehouse and Garden by John Lewis. After which time, it will be donated to Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice, the children’s hospice for Sussex to support care for children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.
Quiet Mark is the international mark of approval from the UK’s Noise Abatement Society, endorsed by DEFRA, encouraging the design of quieter high performance technology and solutions to reduce unwanted noise in our environment. The distinctive purple Quiet Mark assures consumers that a product is one of the quietest in its category with an easy labelling system at point of sale.
