Phoenix Contact will exhibit at the event, along with other key companies involved in Industry 4.0. Visitors to the Industry 4.0 event will learn that the key goal of Industry 4.0 is to create intelligent (smart) factories with a focus on cyber physical systems primarily consisting of communication technologies, software, senses and processes – all of which have the potential, through cloud technology, to communicate and interact with each other in an intelligent way.

Industry 4.0: Multi-touchscreen assistant for ease of operation

One part of the Industry 4.0 demonstrator presented by Phoenix Contact at SPS IPC drives in Hall 9, booth 310 is a manual workstation. At this station, the labels for terminal blocks are automatically printed and then attached to the terminals by hand.
