Highly compact Mini Analog Pro Ex i signal conditioners and measuring transducers with comprehensive approval package

In addition to ATEX/IECEX and CCC Ex, the intrinsically safe 6.2 mm signal conditioners and measuring transducers from the Mini Analog Pro product family from Phoenix Contact now have further certifications.

These are the UL directives for ordinary and hazardous locations (ordloc/hazloc) as well as INMETRO (Brazilian approval) and DNV for maritime applications. In combination with the evaluation according to the highest safety level SIL 3, the product family combines intrinsically safe explosion protection and functional safety up to SIL 3 1oo1 in particularly compact overall width and installed height.

The ATEX/IECEX certifications ensure safe operation in potentially explosive areas both within the EU and worldwide. In addition, UL certification, which is particularly important for the North American market, confirms compliance with strict safety standards. Furthermore, INMETRO certification ensures that the products comply with Brazilian safety and quality standards. Finally, the DNV certification attests that the high safety and quality requirements of the shipping industry are met, which enables use in offshore areas.

In addition to the international approvals for all zones and groups of substances, the products offer an extended temperature range of -40°C to 70°C as well as a documented altitude range of up to 5,000 m. The highest safety level SIL 3 (one out of one) enables protection of people, the environment, and systems.
