Press release —
NE-95-certified signal conditioners and measuring transducers for demanding process industry applications
Phoenix Contact is now providing complete, up-to-date NE-95 test reports for selected devices from the Mini Analog Pro and Macx Analog families of signal conditioners. The tests were carried out in accordance with the NAMUR recommendation NE 95 “Test methods for automation technology devices”. They confirm the high robustness, accuracy, and interoperability of the signal isolators in industrial use. The reports serve as a neutral basis for decision-making and support users with inquiries, approvals, and tenders. They often replace in-house function or integration tests.
The test reports cover all chapters of NAMUR NE 95. They include tests on electromagnetic compatibility, interference immunity, and general robustness. The reports also contain tests on communication and signal behavior, climate resistance, and functional safety. This provides verifiable proof that the devices reliably meet the high technical requirements of the process industry.
Typical areas of application for signal conditioners and measuring transducers are in the chemical industry, the oil and gas sector, and in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Other applications can be found in energy and power plant applications, in water and waste water systems, and in machine building and systems manufacturing. The devices are also used in power-to-X projects. For operators, the NE-95 reports provide reliable proof of qualification, especially in safety-relevant systems and systems with high regulatory demands. They are also suitable for engineering departments that require clear documentation as part of the project design. The documents are available in the Phoenix Contact e-shop on the respective product pages of the tested devices.
Mini Analog Pro and Macx Analog complement each other as an integrated, scalable system for precise signal processing, high operational safety, and flexible system architectures. The compact, high-performance device families feature a wide range of functions and worldwide approvals. They can be integrated seamlessly into modern process, energy, and machine building applications.
