New AC charging cables for the Chinese market

The new Charx connect mode 3 charging cables in accordance with the Chinese GB/T standard have been reduced to the essentials. The design of the charging connector is compact and simple, yet it still offers comfortable, ergonomic handling for users of charging columns and home chargers. This is also substantiated by the charging cable’s China Quality Certification Center (CQC) certification.

The charging cables with open cable ends are available in the four common performance classes, from 3.7 kW to 22 kW, and in various cable lengths. The silver-plated surfaces of the power and signal contacts ensure corrosion protection, efficient power transmission, and a long service life. The sealing concept creates continuous longitudinal water tightness, which prevents moisture from penetrating the charging connector or the cable.

For consistent branding of charging stations, charging connectors with individual customer logos are available upon request, either imprinted or as a UV- and weather-resistant plastic label.
