New Compact Plug Connector with Push-In Connection and Latching Function for Pin Strips

Phoenix Contact is expanding its PTS plug connector family: The new part features spring connection technology and latching pin strips. The latching function prevents vibrations from unintentionally disconnecting the plug, which is especially important for providing safety for connectors with a small number of pins.

The connectors designed for solid and stranded conductors with cross-sections up to 2.5 mm². The push-in connection system makes connecting and disconnecting quick and easy. The plug connector is available with up to 12 pins. The number of pins can be extended simply by stringing units together. The color-coded solution prevents users from connecting the plug to the PCB incorrectly. The PCB plug connector is compatible with existing pin strips.
