New cover lids and hood for UM-BASIC/-PRO extruded profile housings
Phoenix Contact is expanding its UM-BASIC/-PRO series of extruded profile housings with new cover lids and a new hood that provide complete coverage of the profile.
The cover lids accommodate various hoods, thereby eliminating the need for additional lids on the PCB. This results in more usable area on the PCB as keep-out areas are no longer required. The cover lids are designed for PCB widths of 108 mm. Featuring IP20 degree of protection, they provide reliable touch protection and prevent mechanical damage to the electronics. The reduced number of parts simplifies handling and lowers mounting costs. Tool-free installation increases productivity. The new cover lids are a cost-effective solution for the reliable protection of electronic modules and the efficient use of PCB space. The new hood also allows the PCB to be completely covered.
