New SNMP OPC Server for Network Monitoring
Phoenix Contact’s new Factory Line FL SNMP OPC products make it easy to integrate the SNMP IT protocol into the OPC visualisation environment. Alternatively, it is also possible to integrate visualisation data into network management structures.
The new Windows 7 (32/64-bit) and Windows 2008 Server (32/64-bit) operating systems are also supported with enhanced functions. The SNMP OPC server performs a network scan to identify connected devices automatically and then configures them with all important data points.
Configuration profiles can be used to facilitate the integration of devices without the need for user configuration. Version 3 has an integrated MIB browser to simplify searches for object IDs. It is possible to visualise traps and alarms. An integrated ActiveX object allows the integration of traps and alarms into a visualisation program such as Visu+ with just a few clicks.
