Rugged SMD PCB terminals with push-in connection technology

Phoenix Contact is expanding its line of surface mount device (SMD) components with the new SPT-SMD PCB terminal. The push-in connector with integrated spring-cage connection makes it easy to connect and disconnect wires up to 1.5 mm² without any special tools.

Available in versions with 2 to 12 positions, the PCB terminals can handle currents up to 13.5 A and voltages up to 320 V. Delivered in tape-on-reel packaging, the terminals for automatically populating PCBs are available in a horizontal and vertical orientation. The horizontal version features two anchoring pins for added stability, while the vertical model comes with twin soldering pins.

Phoenix Contact is further expanding its line of SMD-capable PCB terminals with quick connection technology to include the new surface mount device (SMD) components.
