SPTH in Twin design with Push-in Technology

The new SPTH 1,5 and 3 PCB terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact combine a compact design with proven Push-in Technology and enable tool-free wiring of conductors up to 4 mm².

The Twin design, with an identical footprint, ensures compatibility with existing layouts. This makes it possible to switch between screw connection and Push-in connection without making any changes to the PCB layout or the device housing. The optimised geometry of the solder pins facilitates the assembly process. The special insertion shape means that the pins are inserted precisely and securely into the PCB, thereby reducing the mounting effort. A large test opening allows for convenient testing using all standard test probes up to 2 mm in diameter and enhances safety during use. With a current carrying capacity of up to 32 A and a nominal voltage of 400 V, the SPTH 1,5 and 3 PCB terminal blocks are suitable for both signal and power applications. The new solution combines a space-saving design with high-quality connections, helping to speed up manufacturing processes and increase flexibility in device development.
