The smarter E Europe 2026: Phoenix Contact promotes holistic energy concepts
Phoenix Contact will be exhibiting again at this year’s edition of Europe’s largest energy industry platform, “The smarter E Europe”. The company will be showcasing solutions for a sustainable, cross-sector power supply in Munich, Germany, from June 23 to June 25, 2026, in line with the trade fair motto “Accelerating Integrated Energy Solutions”.
“The energy system is undergoing profound change. We will succeed in the transformation to an All Electric Society all the faster if we think holistically, across sector boundaries, and with consistent, integrated solutions”, says Stephan Volgmann, Chief Sales Officer (CSO) designate at Phoenix Contact. “The trade fair brings together precisely those stakeholders that are needed to achieve this”.
The focus of Phoenix Contact’s trade fair appearance will be on DC grids, battery energy storage systems, solutions in the context of Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG), smart grid connections, e-mobility, and state-of-the-art charging solutions.
DC grids form the backbone of efficient energy flows. They make it possible to couple renewable energies, storage systems, and loads more efficiently by reducing conversion losses, and to use energy in line with demand. Among other solutions, Phoenix Contact will be exhibiting products that enable arc-free switching and disconnection processes in DC grids, even under load.
Battery energy storage systems (BESS) complement integrated energy concepts by balancing out the volatility of renewable energy sources, stabilising grids, and making energy available when it is needed. With its broad product portfolio ranging from connection technology right through to power electronics, the company based in Blomberg, Germany, ensures that battery energy storage systems can be operated reliably and can strengthen a reliable energy infrastructure.
E-mobility is no longer an isolated transport segment, but an integral part of the energy transition. At booth 110 in hall B5, you will find components for the setup and energy management of charging infrastructure, charging connectors for megawatt charging, and a premiere in the field of CCS charging inlets: the world’s first charging inlet with integrated controller. Phoenix Contact will be presenting further key components and product highlights for a cross-sector energy system in Munich, Germany, from June 23 to June 25.
