  • CAN components now with DNV approval

The infrastructure components for data transmission via the CANopen and DeviceNet protocol are now available from Phoenix Contact with DNV approval.

  • New ultra-compact output signal conditioner

The new Mini MCR-SL-IDS-I-I output signal conditioner with a narrow 6.2 mm design from the Mini Analog product range transmits and electrically isolates 4 to 20 mA signals from the controller to a load in the field, such as I/P converters, control valves or displays.

  • Phase monitoring relays for high temperature areas

The new EMD-SL-PH-690 monitoring relay from Phoenix Contact monitors the electrical parameters for phase sequence and failure as well as under-voltages in applications up to ambient temperatures of 70°C.

  • Highly compact signal conditioners listed by UL

Five signal conditioners from the Mini Analog product range from Phoenix Contact are now listed according to ANSI ISA 12.12.01 for the USA and Canada and can therefore be used worldwide in potentially explosive areas of Class I, Division 2.

  • Easy connection in the smallest of spaces

The new PT-SG/ 1 PCB terminal block from Phoenix Contact is a single-position PCB terminal block for flat-ribbon conductors with maximum dimensions of 8 mm x 2 mm.

  • Compact and fan-less quad-core box PC

The new Basicline 2000 box PCs from Phoenix Contact for use in harsh industrial environments now offer powerful 3rd generation quad-core processors (Bay Trail) a fanless housing.

  • Panel PCs in new format

Phoenix Contact is extending its range of Embeddedline panel PCs with 4:3 format displays.

  • New electronic device circuit breakers

In addition to providing protection against overload and short-circuit, the new electronic device circuit breakers now also offer an inverted status output. They are therefore particularly suitable for group signaling with the aid of a parallel connection for the status outputs.

  • GL approval for the QPD installation system

The QPD installation system with Quickon IDC fast connection technology from Phoenix Contact now has GL approval for the complete QPD product portfolio. Use in very harsh and aggressive environments, such as on ships or in offshore wind power plants, is therefore possible.

  • Industry 4.0: Multi-touchscreen assistant for ease of operation

One part of the Industry 4.0 demonstrator presented by Phoenix Contact at SPS IPC drives in Hall 9, booth 310 is a manual workstation. At this station, the labels for terminal blocks are automatically printed and then attached to the terminals by hand.

  • Industry 4.0: Integrated engineering based on AutomationML and eCl@ss

The Industry 4.0 demonstrator will play a key role during the trade fair appearance of Phoenix Contact at SPS IPCdrives 2014. This machine illustrates how some aspects of the Industry 4.0 future project can be implemented based on the example of automated control cabinet construction.
