Press release -
New Software The Golden Ticket For Derby Based Wedding Photographer
The new software can intelligently store venue information, send and record text, email & letter correspondence with clients, and even display detailed maps for various venues, and what's more, 95 per-cent of its functionality does not require Wifi!
The brainchild of seasoned wedding photographer Steven Bradshaw (32), the business management software to be named PhotoBase was originally developed from a need to store extensive amounts of photo-shoot information and from an urgent administrative requirement.
Dubbed by those lucky enough to give it a test drive as ‘revolutionary’, PhotoBase can store client contact & event details, publish events to Google & iCal calendars, create invoices, print studio & client labels, send text messages notifications & messages to couples regarding their shoot, store venue information & create Google maps of various wedding venues and has a sophisticated accounting system built into it, allowing the user to keep tabs on due invoices, costs & profits.
Steven, who started his career as a press photographer, said: “As a wedding photographer I am expected to hold lots of information on file regarding my clients and with up to 50 weddings booked each year, this can be a mammoth task for even the most seasoned professional.
“I began searching for a solution to this side of the business and began working with a database design system called ‘Filemaker’ to create a standard contacts database. Once this had been achieved, I then began developing it over a period of two years to add many new features and put the software through a rigorous testing process.
'The software can run happily and directly from a USB flash drive on a laptop computer and no wifi internet connection is required, making on-location editing and updating of client data possible."
Another fantastic feature of Photobase is the innovative email function, allowing the user to view two way client email correspondence with no searching required. The system also boasts an image management system allowing the photographer to import and reference client image libraries, making life much easier for Photo ordering
Steven, who started his photography business, ‘Steven Bradshaw Photography’ back in 1997, added: “I hope that this new piece of software will literally transform the wedding photography industry as it exists today. Photographers who purchase this system can dramatically cut down on the amount of hours they spend managing the business and spend more time doing what they love- Taking photographs.”
Priced at just £95 inc VAT, PhotoBase can be purchased in two different versions, a standalone version and a multi user Filemaker version which comes in at just £145 inc VAT.) Customers can simply pay via PayPal and download the software in an instant.
Steve continued: “I gave the software to a local network of photographers to try out and so far the response has been phenomenal. I hope to expand upon the current template in the coming months, to add handling of studio portrait and commercial photography admin requirements, so watch this space!"
