    The Post Office has today, 30 June 2021, formally responded to the Court of Appeal regarding 25 applications by former postmasters for permission to appeal their convictions in Post Office prosecutions between 2002 and 2012.

    Last December, Post Office and Royal Mail agreed a new Mails Distribution Agreement. Post Office has now begun a consultation with all Postmasters on how it proposes to change the remuneration structure and as part of this, Postmasters will receive specific data in relation to their branch or branches.

  • Post Office statement on Southwark Crown Court appeals

    Southwark Crown Court today (11 December 2020) formally acquitted six former postmasters, referred by the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) earlier this year, in uncontested appeals. The Post Office informed the Court and appellants in October that it would not oppose the appeals, which related to convictions in Magistrates’ Courts between 2003-2013, in which Post Office acted as prosecutor.
