CODE Student Accommodation wins top UK National Customer Satisfaction Award

CODE Student Accommodation, based in Leicester has won another National Award as winner of the Best Customer Service in the UK across all sectors in the SME category. The awards are run by the National Institute of Customer Service.

From a shortlist of 125 well known brands, CODE Student Accommodation and other prestigious organisations including Virgin Money, Centrica, Talk Talk, and Barclays were recognised as worthy winners for the way in which they have delivered the highest standards in UK customer service over the past year in various categories.

On making the award the judges remarked that CODE “..are using customer focus as a differentiator in an increasingly competitive market to meet the needs of students who have increasingly high expectations and it is the investment in customer service that truly sets CODE apart.”

The customer experience at CODE is differentiated by each student being able to contact the staff on the online chat function until 11pm every night from the convenience of their own studio with 24/7 security on hand and comfort enhanced by a range of complimentary facilities to build the sense of community including free gym, free fitness classes and an on-site Café and Cinema with regular screenings. The students are also supported by the presence of a local community Police Beat Office and a range of resources dedicated to looking after their mental health and wellbeing in what is recognized as increasingly challenging times for students to complete their studies. It is for these reasons that CODE have also been voted as Best Student Accommodation Provider in the UK by the students themselves in both the 2016 & 2017 National Student Housing Survey.

The Award comes at a time when CODE have just extended their Western Road, Leicester development to 1000 beds and have a £60M development underway in what will be Coventry’s tallest building at 23 storeys housing a further 1200 students attending Coventry and Warwick Universities.
