Press release -

Sold your caravan? Then don’t forget to notify your insurer

Caravanners who have recently sold their caravan during the year are being reminded to notify their insurer – as they could be due a part refund of their insurance premiums.

Richard Burgess, Director at Cover4Caravans.co.uk - the caravan insurance specialists – explains: “Many caravanners forget to cancel their caravan insurance when they sell their ‘van, waiting until renewal to notify their insurance company.

“Even though your premium might be low, however, most insurers offer a pro-rata refund, so it is worth informing them.

“Here at Cover4Caravans, for example, we always allow a pro-rata refund (unless you have had a claim) and apply just a £10.00 admin fee to a cancellation.

“It’s just a shame people miss out on these refunds, so please don’t forget to notify your insurer as soon as you sell your caravan”.
