Appeal after robbery in Southampton

We are appealing for information after a 19-year-old man was robbed in Shirley, Southampton on Saturday 15 December.

The man was chased through St James Park by several youths wearing balaclavas and dark clothing at about 4pm.

He was assaulted once he had reached Winchester Road and received a head injury for which he received treatment at Southampton General Hospital.

The victim’s rucksack was taken and later recovered in St James Park - with his phone charger and passport missing.
