Appeal following ATM theft in Old Basing

We are appealing for witnesses and information after the theft of an ATM cashbox from an Old Basing shop in the early hours of Valentine’s Day.

The incident occurred at 12.20am on February 14 at the Co-op in Linden Avenue.

The suspects have smashed the shop window and stole the ATM’s cashbox before making off in a vehicle towards the A30.

A 37 year old man from Yateley has been arrested in connection with this incident. He has been released under investigation.
