Press release -
Attempted robbery by boys in Clanfield
We’re investigating a robbery in South Lane Meadow, off South Lane, in the early hours of Sunday (18 November).
At about 12.15am a 21-year-old man was walking through the field off of South Lane when he was approached by four boys.
One of the boys had a knife and demanded the man’s phone and wallet. At that time another boy produced a weapon, which was described as a small axe.
The man fought off the boy with the knife and fled the scene.
The boy with the knife was described as:
- Aged 10-16-years-old
- 5’ 8” tall
- Dark hair
- He was wearing black jeans and a dark grey hoody with a Thorpe Park ‘swarm grenade’ logo
We’d like to hear from anyone who recognises the boy from the description given.
Does your son, or any of your children’s friends have a hoody like the one described? Was your son out in the early hours of Sunday? Did he come home with any injuries?
