Send a Diwali Video eCard Hope Spring Charity Urges

Diwali, the Festival of Light, is probably the most significant holiday in India and other parts of south asia. The festival, which is celebrated over many days, usually reaches its pinnacle on one big final day, which this year falls on Thursday, the 4th of November.

To join British South Asians who are celebrating Diwali in festivity and make sending greetings easier, Hope Spring eCard has created a new set of Diwali eCards and Video eCards. Almost all the eCard designs feature Diya, the primary icon of Diwali, which symbolises enlightenment and wisdom.

Announcing the launch of the Diwali eCards, Hope Spring trustee Temi Odurinde urges supporters of his organisation and the general public to send a Diwali Video eCard to their friends or colleagues who are celebrating Diwali a Happy Diwali. Temi added that “sending an eCard may not be one of the ways the great festival is celebrated in the region it originated, but it is a uniquely British spin on Diwali, which could help spread the message of the holiday”.

Hope Spring eCards created its first Diwali ecards in 2020, about half a dozen ecards were sent that year. The charity is expecting many more Diwali ecards to be sent this year, mainly because they have added video eCards to the collection they have this year. Video and animated ecards are more popular with users than static ecards.

You can send a Diwali ecard by visiting Hope Spring eCards LinkedIn page, their website or any of their social media pages.
