Clear Your Head –Remedial Hypnotist’s New Book gives a radical new approach to controlling anxiety

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

United Kingdom – Tim states that when he first started seeing clients professionally Anxiety wasn’t a thing but as he says in the book, “Now more than half the people I see are there to deal with anxiety. That’s why I run specific workshops on anxiety now, because help is so needed. It’s so in-demand.”

Tim Box bases much of his methods on real life practice and observation through dealing with his client’s anxiety issues. He’s well known in the BNI networking organisation and delivers his talks on anxiety and what to do about it to the myriad of people that suffer in business and their personal lives.

In this amazing new work Tim gives you powerful strategies in 10 steps

Worrying is never the best strategy

Make your mind a library

Panic is redundant

Your name is not anxiety

The feeling is natural

The way it feels differs from the way it is

The folly of Jürgen Klopp (yes this is an example Tim uses of the Liverpool football manager)

The cognitive assessment

You are the expert on you

The last (and first) rule of anxiety control

You can use these techniques to Sleep well, Increase your self-esteem, Gain confidence, for anyone that suffers with anxiety.

In Tim’s words “Anxiety is an emotion. Nothing more than that. An emotion that we can either lose control of or get control of. If we can do that, then we can start to view things a little bit differently.”

Tim comes from an awareness of social anxiety as he suffered this quite acutely, which is hard to understand as he was at one time a guitarist in a punk rock band playing to thousands, but in his own words used to hide behind his beard, his hair and his cap and would disappear in the background playing his guitar. Social interaction though was painful for him, so his book is borne out of a desire to help others that find themselves in the situation that he himself happily overcame.

Anxiety is largely a pattern we run in our minds much like a phobia and Tim explains the conscious and subconscious and how we can learn to control this thinking by using the Captain and Crew analogy.

He explains; “Unfortunately, the bit of us that has all its hands on the things that steer and sail the ship is the subconscious. That’s the crew, basically. If your crew is listening to your captain, it’s plain sailing.

You know where you want to go in life, and then all of your subconscious crewmen, they do the things they need to do to get us there, and we feel in control of the ship.

We only really feel out of control of the ship when our crew aren’t listening to the captain and they’re doing their own thing, they’re all everywhere.”

Early reviews for the book have been overwhelmingly positive. For example, one Amazon Reviewer said “I particularly liked the kind, self-compassionate approach it takes to something that is traditionally seen as a 'disorder.' I myself like so many others I'm sure, experience times where the head feels responsible for everybody and everything and Tim's book makes this experience feel natural yet something you can break free of.”

Another reader adds, “This book is written in the style of a conversation taking place between two anxiety treatment experts. Its framed in such a way as to allow the reader to feel like they have accessed this life changing information by overhearing it somewhere like a coffee shop. The quirky style allows the reader to think about things differently but in a way that is not challenging or difficult. As someone who suffers with anxiety, thinking about things differently can sometimes feel challenging. I feel empowered after reading this book”.
