Gympass pledge support to London Sport’s We Are Not Spectators campaign

London Sport are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Gympass, the world’s largest corporate wellbeing platform, as they back its We Are Not Spectators pledge to champion grassroots sport across the capital.

The pledge sees London Sport work alongside partners that are passionate about making London the most active city in the world, helping more Londoners become healthier and happier.

As part of We Are Not Spectators, Gympass will be an active member of London Sport’s network and celebrate the incredible achievements of Londoners who make our mission a reality.

Gympass are one of several businesses to back the pledge, with the new partnership supporting the Active London conference and the London Sport Awards 2021.

Gympass will sponsor The Health and Wellbeing Award at December’s London Sport Awards at the Guildhall with Harlequins Foundation, Open Age and Social Action for Health all shortlisted for their use of physical activity to promote physical and mental wellbeing.

Companies worldwide rely on Gympass’ unmatched variety, convenience, and flexibility to support their employees’ health and happiness through their partnerships with wellbeing providers.

Gympass have also agreed to partner the second day of our Active London conference which, for the second time, is a digital event taking place across two days in September.

Active London is the largest conference in London dedicated entirely to the future of physical activity and sport and on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 September will bring the sector together again.

The conference is here to help the sector make a difference for Londoners with inspirational speakers, panel discussions and interactive workshops to educate and inform attendees.

London Sport’s Business Development and Partnerships Manager, Jennie Rivett, said:

“We’re delighted to have Gympass back our We Are Not Spectators pledge and together raise the awareness of workplace health and its vital role to making London an active city.

“London Sport’s two biggest events of the year wouldn’t be possible without the support of our partners and we are looking forward to welcoming Gympass for the first time.

“Their support will add value to our agenda and help celebrate Londoners working to provide healthy lifestyles across the capital.”

Luke Bullen, CEO for UK & Ireland, at Gympass, said:

“We’re delighted to partner with London Sport for its We Are Not Spectators campaign, as its values align so well with our mission to make wellbeing universal.

“London is renowned for being a hard-working city, and so the opportunity to work with London Sport to encourage employers to get their employees active can only be a good thing.

“The best companies know that keeping their employees happy and health should be their number one priority, so encouraging them to take time out to exercise makes perfect business sense. It really doesn’t matter what people choose to do, when or where they choose to do it so long as they are active during their workday.”
