Man charged with burglary in Thatto Heath

We have charged a man with burglary following an incident in Thatto Heath in October.

Stephen Shaun Carney, 18, of no fixed address was arrested on Friday 15 December and charged the following day with burglary of a house on Nutgrove Hall Drive on 18 October.

The offender forced entry to the house via patio doors, causing damage and making a search of the upstairs before leaving empty-handed.

He appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to one count of burglary. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 14 January 2019.
