Portknockie to Cullen cycleway and footpath open following temporary repairs

THE cycleway and footpath between Portknockie and Cullen has reopened following temporary repairs.

Remedial works began earlier this year, following a survey by Sustrans, and the path is now open to the public again. Signage is being installed along the route to advise users that it is a temporary repair.

A flood risk assessment is due to be carried out between January and March 2019, followed by a review of all repair works needed. It’s anticipated that these repairs could be completed by June 2019, in the meantime Moray Council will continue to monitor the site regularly.
