Summer reading challenge pulling in the bookworms
This year’s Tesco Bank Summer Reading Challenge is proving as popular as ever with young people across Moray. Nearly 1,000 young bookworms have signed up so far, and there’s still plenty of time for others to join in before the 26th August deadline.
The challenge is based around the Animal Agents characters, who love solving mysteries. Young readers can help them crack their biggest case yet by finding clues within the six selected books of the challenge.
Each completed book is rewarded with a special sticker, and each time those taking part visit the library as part of the challenge they discover new clues and evidence that will help solve this cryptic case.
As an added bonus, all children who have read at least three of their six books will be invited to a special event with Lossiemouth-born illustrator, Kate Leiper.
Children can sign up to take part at any of Moray’s libraries.
