Experts in sustainable beauty join Eco Life Scandinavia’s stellar speaker line-up

Now with the Keynote line-up confirmed – expert speakers from NATRUE, Tree of Brands, Allergy Certified, NOC Sweden, Ecovia Intelligence, In Trend, Hemptouch, BuyNature, Luonkos, and more will take to the stage in the show’s Beauty Theatre over 13-14 November at MalmöMässan.

CBD beauty, genderless organic perfume, beauty from within, sustainable refills, and growth in the sector, are just a few topics up for discussion this year – providing attending retailers, buyers and beauty professionals with invaluable insights and opportunities into the world of natural, organic, vegan, ethical and sustainable beauty.

“For two days, in one place, you will have all the expertise gathered. You will have the latest trends, the longest experience and the will to change the landscape of beauty into a healthier and sustainable one,” says Emma Bergqvist, founder of Tree of Brands, whose session on refillable cosmetics with Tabitha James Kraan will take place on 13 Nov at 1.15pm. Emma will also discuss trends and growth in Swedish natural and organic skincare on the same day at 3.15pm.

“I will take natural beauty to the next level. Open minds to what sustainable beauty is all about and how important it is to take responsibility for the whole lifecycle of our beauty products. I will also show how easily we can contribute to a better development for the environment,” adds Emma Bergqvist.

As well as trends, visitors should head to the theatre for top business tips from former head of beauty at Selfridges, Wizz Selvey. With 15 years knowledge of how to approach retailers and get noticed by buyers, Selvey will define distribution strategy and engagement approaches, including meeting preparation and considerations in her session ‘How to Work with Retailers: From pitching to growing your sales’ on 14 Nov at 3.15pm.

“I’m passionate about natural beauty and discovering new brands. Scandinavia is a pioneer of sustainable living and as the beauty consumer is becoming more focused on natural and sustainable brands, I feel that Eco Life Scandinavia is an important show to attend. I have been talking about Nordic brands for some time to UK retailers and was pleased to launch a brand with an online retailer last year,” says Selvey.

Other theatre highlights include:

Beauty From Within with Glendean Rehvan (In-Trend) – Today’s beauty consumers no longer rely on topicals to look beautiful and are all about a natural approach of looking good with ‘beauty from within’ supplements. Rehvan will talk about this established part of the beauty landscape.
