Introducing Eco Life Scandinavia – Nordic region’s biggest natural products show gets a new name and a major rebrand for 2019

Award-winning international event organiser Diversified Communications has announced further details of its major rebrand for Eco Life Scandinavia (the show formerly known as Natural Products Scandinavia), being held in Malmö, Sweden, on 13-14 November.

Promoting and celebrating eco-friendly living has been at the heart of the show since its hugely-successful launch in 2012. This important rebrand takes that firmly centre stage. It also reflects the ongoing, significant growth and evolution within the natural products sector, explains portfolio director Fiona Allen.

She says: “As the Nordic region’s leading trade event for natural health, beauty and sustainable living, it’s vital to evolve alongside the industries we serve. The Scandinavian countries continue to lead the world in the move towards sustainable, healthy and ethical living. Our new branding – from the show name and logo change to the complete website redesign – is more aligned with the Scandinavian market and perfectly summarises what the event is all about.

“Simply put: Eco-Life Scandinavia is the essential trade show for anyone involved in the business of making, buying or selling healthy, sustainable lifestyle products – including health, nutrition, food, drink, beauty, self-care, skincare, clothing, homeware and cleaning products.”

New name, new look, new show features

Co-located with Nordic Organic Food Fair, with a combined 500+ exhibitors, the event annually welcomes 5,000 attendees – all looking to discover new innovations that they won’t find anywhere else.

As part of the relaunch, the Eco Life Scandinavia brand will make their visitor experience even easier – by incorporating four new show areas dedicated to the fastest growing sectors within the eco living market: Vegan Scandinavia, FreeFrom Scandinavia, Natural Health & Beauty Scandinavia and Naked Drinks Scandinavia.

The rise of veganism is one of the most important trends in retail and Vegan Scandinavia caters to this rapidly growing sector. With the market for vegan becoming increasingly mainstream – 5.5% of Danes under 34 consider themselves vegan or vegetarian, and many more are adopting a flexitarian diet – it’s set to be a popular feature of the show.

FreeFrom Scandinavia will showcase the wealth of diversity available in the ever-expanding free-from sector. The number of free-from products on the market in Sweden in 2017 increased by a significant 20%, as the sector continues to outgrow traditional categories, and similar figures can be seen in Denmark and Norway.

Selfcare also continues to be a strong growth category among consumers in Scandinavia, as people increasingly take charge of their own wellbeing and adopt healthier lifestyles. Natural Health & Beauty Scandinavia promises to be the leading trade event for the sector in the region, providing a unique platform for companies selling selfcare products to meet the leading trade buyers from the Nordic countries and further afield.

Head to Naked Drinks Scandinavia to sample some of the world’s best natural, vegan, organic, free-from wines, beers and spirits. According to Systembolaget, the Swedish alcohol monopoly, organic wine now boasts a 22% market share; while one in three Swedes will choose to buy organic beer, when it’s available. The first event dedicated to the increasingly important ethical drinks sector, it covers everything buyers and decision makers need to make more sustainable choices for both the consumer and the planet.

Save the date for 2019
