OUP appoints Amanda Hatter as Global Reward Director
Oxford University Press (OUP)—the world’s largest university press—has announced that it has appointed Amanda Hatter as its new Global Reward Director.
Amanda has previously worked at several international organizations including Ford Motor Company, Hewlett Packard and, most recently, Hitachi Vantara. She has long had a passion for publishing, having previously published a children’s novel.
Commenting on her appointment, Amanda said: ‘I am thrilled and excited to be joining OUP, an organization with strong ethics, values, and a compelling mission. I can’t wait to meet my new colleagues and start to make a difference.’
Adding to this, Lesley Sommerville, Group HR Director at OUP said: ‘Amanda is infectiously positive, has a can-do mindset, and a firm commitment to our values. She also has strong leadership and teamwork behaviours that resonate well with our business, and which will enable her to make an impact quickly. She will be a brilliant addition to the team.’
Amanda starts her new role later this month.
