Make a date for the Mayor’s Charity Ball

Guests could be singing Auld Lang Syne and doing the Highland Fling at a special Burns’ Night-themed Mayor’s Charity Ball in the new year.

On January 24, his Worship The Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Peter Rush and Mayoress Mrs Monica Rush will host the special event to raise funds for his chosen charities, which include Parkinson’s UK Rochdale Branch, Rochdale and District Blind Welfare Society, Springhill Hospice and other local charities.

Starting at 7pm with a drinks reception, the event will continue with a 5-course meal.

Entertainment will include a Ceilidh band, readings of Robert Burns’ poetry and Middleton Popstars Academy and much more.

Tickets cost £32 or a table of 10 can be purchased for the special rate of £300.
