Living with Colours: Stylish decorating ideas for a cozy autumn

Rosenthal - "Sixty & Twelve" vase collection

To mark the 60th anniversary of studio-line, Rosenthal is launching 60 selected vases in twelve different colours that reflect future trends and at the same time represent a journey through Rosenthal's design history. The limited edition alternates between restrained shades of grey, pastel green and blue as well as intense berry tones with sonorous names such as Sea Salt, Tangerine, Mint and Abyss. Included in the illustrious birthday series are Rosenthal classics such as Plissée by Martin Freyer (1968), Pollo by Tapio Wirkkala (1970), Conio by Michele De Lucchi (1994), Fast by Cédric Ragot (2006) and Fondale by Office for Product Design (2017).

The shapes are as varied as the colours: they range from pure, architectural volumes to sumptuous, floral objects. The restrained tones of the palette correspond with the strictly geometric vase shapes, while the intense colours blend with the poetically playful objects. The vases are made of through-dyed porcelain mass.

Rosenthal - Paperbag vase

With the paperbag vase, Tapio Wirkkala took aim at pop culture with a wink in 1977 and created one of the Rosenthal classics par excellence. The Finnish designer was one of the most influential designers at Rosenthal from the very beginning. For the studio line's 60th anniversary year, the iconic vases are now being launched in rose-coloured cameo, light grey lava, orange-red coral, and pastel green mint made of solid-coloured porcelain.

Rosenthal meets Versace - Medusa Grande Fuchsia

Medusa Grande vases, Medusa Gypsy and Break the Bank Money boxes have been refreshed in a new fuchsia shade. The color creates a play of shades on the surface of the decorative objects, with the tone changing from warm fuchsia to metallic shimmering copper, depending on the light.

Rosenthal meets Versace - Medusa Colours

A Versace Home Collection classic, the Medusa Colours tableware line is designed in a boasting colour palette. Characterized by a central Medusa motif, the fine porcelain plates are adorned with heritage gold-tone Barocco borders. Already available in classic red and blue tones, the 2020 collection introduces four new colorways: delicate rose, light celeste blue, marine purple and juniper green.
