JL Audio Marine Europe - Marine Audio has a new ‘King of Bass’
Poole, United Kingdom – 22nd June 2017 - JL Audio Marine Europe has announced the launch of its largest and most powerful marine subwoofer, the M12IB6. As the latest addition to JL Audio’s best-selling M-Series range, the new marine subwoofer measures a sizeable 12-inches in diameter, is capable of producing a staggering amount of quality bass and looks set to wipe the floor with competing products.
Subwoofers are designed to bring an optimum depth of sound and a cleaner sound experience. JL Audio’s M-Series are a proven match for the very best home entertainment systems, but with the significant difference of being engineered to withstand the toughest of marine environments, over a long period.
The M-Series subwoofers range in size from eight to twelve inches and all offer outstanding performance. The bigger the subwoofer, the better performance, however, the new 12-inch M12IB6 is in a class entirely on its own. With more than twice the displacement of JL Audio’s potent 10-inch M-Series subwoofer, the 12-inch version can produce 6dB more bass output, which is a significant amount more. Designed to operate without a dedicated enclosure, the new 12-inch subwoofer boasts a four-inch voice coil and rugged suspension system, which is designed to deliver optimum linear excursion. This again reinforces the high-quality sound output, justifying its title as the ‘King of Bass’.

The new 12-inch subwoofer integrates seamlessly with JL Audio’s marine audio product family and can be intuitively controlled either by its compact MBT-CRX Bluetooth™ controller and receiver, or the more sophisticated marine audio source unit, the MediaMaster®100s, which was introduced to the market last year to high acclaim.
