Auto Windscreens has made it even easier for drivers to book a glass repair or replacement for their vehicle following the launch of its new website -www.autowindscreens.co.uk.
Showcasing the company's new brand identity, the website features a whole new look.
It is designed to be as user-friendly as possible. It is quick to upload, easy to navigate and informative. The new website represents the first phase in Auto Windscreens' online development featuring the new brand; with phase two expected early 2009.
The website also has an improved online booking facility which enables customers to identify whether their windscreen damage can be inexpensively repaired rather than replaced as well as book an appointment.
Also featuring regularly updated industry news and a ‘Handy Hints and Tips' section, the site also carries information which could help motorists avoid falling foul of the law!
Commenting on the new website Auto Windscreens Managing Director Abu-Haris Shafi said: "The Internet is a hugely valuable sales tool. *Sixty five per cent of households in Great Britain have Internet access so the value of having a fully functional website cannot be underestimated by any business.
"As Auto Windscreens has relationships with most major insurers and fleet companies, our new website will provide a user-friendly one-stop-shop for virtually every motorists' automotive glazing needs."
For customers who wish to speak to a knowledgeable operator, Auto Windscreens operates a 24 hour, seven days a week freephone number (0800 999 8000) direct to a UK-based contact centre. When booking, customers can either choose to visit one of Auto Windscreens' national network of fitting centres or arrange for a mobile technician to visit them at their home or work.

About the RAC
First formed in 1897, the RAC has been looking after the needs of its members and championing the interests of drivers for more than 120 years.
Today it has more than eight million members and is one of the UK’s most progressive motoring organisations, providing services for both private and business motorists. Whether it's roadside assistance, insurance, buying a used car, vehicle inspections and checks, legal services or up-to-the-minute traffic and travel information – the RAC offers a solution for all motoring needs. The RAC is committed to making motoring easier, safer, more affordable and more enjoyable for drivers and road users.
The RAC is the motorist’s champion and campaigns to support the interests of its members and UK drivers at a national level. This includes voicing concerns about the increasing cost of motoring, particularly the price of fuel and the high level of tax levied on it, advancing levels of road safety, and supporting the needs of all drivers, from young to old.
The RAC’s annual Report on Motoring – first published in 1989 – is one of a kind and provides a clear insight into the concerns and issues facing today’s motorists.
For the very latest news on UK fuel prices, check RAC Fuel Watch. It provides a comprehensive guide to the latest UK unleaded petrol and diesel prices – both at the wholesale level and at the pump - and tracks these prices daily to help drivers check if the price they pay to fill up is a fair one.
