SAGE Ocean offers a wide range of resources, courses and events as part of their mission to help equip social scientists with the computational skills and tools they need to supercharge their research impact.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This 90 minute session will be split into 3 parts:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Big data: What are the opportunities and challenges for social science research? &lt;br&gt;2. Why use R? Video demo with Dr Maja Založnik &lt;br&gt;3. Try out SAGE Campus' 'Intro to R' course&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you want to try out the SAGE Campus ’Introduction to R’ course during the session, please bring a laptop so you can connect via WiFi.
