Every Scandic hotel is now serving a unique Autumn menu developed by world-renowned chef Jamie Oliver in partnership with Scandic’s own executive chefs.
Scandic in final of European Hotel Awards
In a process that began in 2012, Scandic and property owner Pandox are refurbishing 21 roadside hotels across Sweden. First on the list was Scandic Upplands Väsby, which was completed in December 2012. Now the hotel and Koncept, the firm behind the new design, have been chosen as one of five finalists for the prestigious European Hotel Awards.

Scandic has been working with Jamie Oliver since 2009, helping to ensure that Scandic’s guests get to taste specially-composed, high-quality dishes that make the most of seasonal ingredients. Together with Scandic, the world-famous chef has produced a wonderful summer menu and a kids menu that’s even more fun. The menus will be served at all 156 hotels in the Nordic countries starting from today.
