Xero ramps up new apps to save businesses time and money

On 13th and 14th of November, London played host to the world’s most innovative conference for cloud accounting leaders in the UK - Xerocon 2019.

Featuring interactive exhibitions, innovative new product launches, and world class keynote speakers (including an astronaut!), the event showcased the very best of the online accounting software solution, and equippedXero partners with the skills and tools to take their business operations to the next level, so that they can help their clients do the very same thing.

The event showcased what the future of Xero looks like, revealing details of new and improved apps such as TransferWise, which enables you to pay for your bills through Xero, Hubdoc, an app focused on paperless processing, which automates data entry and transaction coding to help ensure accurate and up-to-date financials, and Fluidly – an intelligent cash flow tool that produces real-time cashflow forecasts and dynamic insights into a companies finances, integrating seamlessly with Xero.

Xero also announced Business Snapshot, a handy new tool coming into force in the 1st quarter of 2020, intended to provide businesses with real-time, smarter insights, which will provide important critical business metrics and trends, to help address immediate issues. The spotlight also fell on Xero VAT HQ – another invaluable tool which provides insight into where clients are at with their VAT returns, ensuring they are submitted accurately and on time. Other additions included automated payroll functionality, providing a solution to ease paperwork, as well as a ‘Quotes’ function to support job profitability.

Martin Gadsby, Partner at Smith Cooper and head of their Cloud Accounting Team comments “Businesses now want and need simpler, smarter and faster ways to access their data in real-time and to make informed business decisions. As a Xero Partner, we are here to help our clients thrive though digital change, making sure their businesses function at optimal efficiency.”
