STAMMAFest GLOBAL OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

The submissions process for STAMMAFest Global is now open.

The conference covers a mix of themes – work and education, empowerment, community - and will also embrace the theme of stammering and culture as we are joined by many writers and artists who stammer. There will be a focus on local groups, supporting people at work and in education, setting up stammering networks, supporting families and teenagers, national and international collaboration and activism, as well as lots of opportunities for fun and to enjoy being part of this wonderful stammering tribe.

Speakers & Guests include:

  • Scroobius Pip, Actor and podcaster
  • Patrick Campbell, Stammering Pride activist
  • Hannah Tovey, Author
  • Paul Aston, Artist
  • Hanan Hurwitz, past Executive Director of the Israeli Stuttering Association and activist’
  • Felicity Baker, BBC Producer
  • Jonty Claypole, producer and writer

The portal for making submission can be found here.

STAMMAFest Global is being planned as a face-to-face conference. We are exploring our options for some parts of the conference to be accessible online but our aim is for as many workshops, talks and presentations as we can to be led by people who are with us in person enjoying all the fun Liverpool and STAMMAFest Global has to offer. Priority is therefore likely to be given to submissions from presenters who plan to come to Liverpool.

If you have any questions about the process, please email programme@stamma.org.

The deadline for submissions in January 31st 2022.
