Jamie Harron sentenced to 3 months imprisonment for brushing the hip of an Arab at the Rock Bottom bar in Dubai. Witnesses to the incident were not called to testify to discredit the allegations brought by Emad Tabaza, the MD of Neuman & Esser. Jamie will appeal the verdict, though this will prolong his difficult circumstances in Dubai, and compound the financial losses he has suffered.
Jamie Harron has no court date for rude gesture charge. Parents to visit Jamie in Dubai but risk criminal charges under UAE cybercrime laws.

Jamie Harron has been stuck in Dubai for over 5 months, following allegations of brushing past a German man in a crowded bar. Neuman & Esser’s MD Mr Emad Tabaza accused Jamie of indecent behaviour and a “rude gesture”. On someone’s word in the UAE, police have arrested Jamie. Harron has been waiting for almost half a year for a court hearing and faces years in prison if found guilty.
