Stoke Park Becomes The First UK 5 Star Hotel To Offer Electric Car Charging

At a time when technology and the environment are both high profile issues, Stoke Park wanted to make a meaningful commitment to support eco-friendly advancements. In line with this, four electric car charging points have been installed.

Stoke Park is the first 5 star hotel in the UK to offer this service. As a five star hotel, Stoke Park has seen its fair share of supercars but hopes the charging points will herald the arrival of the of the latest and future electric cars. The points operate on a trickle charge and will be available for hotel guests, corporate clients and Stoke Park members to use free of charge.

This will allow guests to drive to Stoke Park in their electric cars, where they will be charged overnight without any hassle or worry, ready for departure. Stoke Park hopes to lead by example with the installation of the chargers, as the estate itself is a prime example of the countryside it is so important to preserve.

Having this facility at Stoke Park is also a great resource for corporate events. It is a perfect way to promote new electric cars, either for a press launch or for a ride and drive day, allowing vehicles to be showcased in a real-world environment. There are also great opportunities for incentives, such as offering dealers a Stoke Park voucher for every electric car sold or for the client buying the vehicle. So whilst you play a round of golf, enjoy a team away day or hold a conference, you can be assured that your electric car will have enough power to get you safely home.
